  • Do Now question- “What is the difference between Peninsulares and Creoles? Why might it be important?” (3 minutes)
  • Turn in Nationalist Revolutions vocab to the tray by the door.
  • Take out the Latin American Revolutions document packet. (45 minutes)
    • Read the overview, then turn to the Hook exercise. Read the directions, then complete the pie chart and pyramid. This is review.
    • Turn to the Understanding the Question and Pre-bucketing page. Work through the questions following the directions provided.
    • Document Analysis-Analyze documents and answer the questions that follow each. We will work through document A together.

    • Please have DBQs submitted to Turnitin.com as soon as possible.
    • Test corrections need to be complete by next Friday, Feb. 7 at 3:00 p.m.

  • Pick up the directions for writing the Industrial Revolution editorial
  • Go to a computer and enroll in the World History course on Turnitin.com (12 minutes)
    • Go to Turnitin.com
    • If you’ve never had an account, click “Create account,” otherwise sign in.
    • Create your user profile. Use an email and password you will remember, as I will not be able to retrieve them.
    • Complete enrollment
      • Class ID- 7461755
      • Enrollment password- bvhww
  • Start writing the editorial described on the last page of the packet.
    • This will be due Monday, and should be at least one page.
    • The editorial serves as your unit summative assessment (35 minutes) This will be submitted to Turnitin.com.
    • You may use your notes, vocab sheet, and packet.
