Mr. Hansen visited to talk with students about College Now enrollment, and students went to have their yearbook/student ID photos taken.  In between the important stuff, we talked about Jamestown, John Smith/ Pocahontas, and the lost colony of Roanoke.

  • Turn your completed Europe maps to the tray by the door. If you don’t have it, sign yourself up for Overtime today on the clipboard above the turn-in tray. Complete in Overtime today for up to 90 % credit.  Turn in by tomorrow for up to 70%.
  • Take out your Do Now sheet and answer the following question: “Why would people choose to live in places that are hazardous?” (3 minutes)
  • Pick up the Geography vocabulary sheet from the tray on the front table and use your book and the internet to start defining the terms, creating visuals to represent the items, facts about the terms, and your thoughts about why each is important. (remainder of period)
