Students worked on the DBQ activity for unit 2. The take-home part requires students to answer the document questions, then organize evidence from the documents and outside the documents into a network tree like the sample we did in class. This will be due on Friday.

Bring a #2 pencil and eraser to class Friday for test corrections, unless of course you got 100% 🙂

Handouts for unit 3 will be distributed, and due dates announced.

The Unit 3 test bank is now available online.

We finished the Reformation notes, and reviewed for the Renaissance/Reformation test, which is on block day.  Students will need to bring their Renaissance/Reformation packet, Reformation vocabulary, learning targets notebook, and a #2 pencil.

Students took notes over the spread of the Reformation, and the Catholic Church’s responses to the Reformation.Tomorrow, we will wrap up notes and review for the test.

Renaissance and Reformation test is on block. Be sure to bring your packets, your reformation vocab, your learning targets notebook, and a #2 pencil

We reviewed in class highlights from the Monroe Administration including:

  • The 1st Seminole War
  • The Missouri Compromise
  • The Panic of 1819
  • The Rush-Bagot Treaty
  • The Convention of 1818
  • The  Adams-Onis Treaty
  • Supreme Court cases:

Unit 2 Objective test is tomorrow.  Be sure to bring #2 pencils.

Discourse is due Tuesday after school.
