Hi!  I’m gone again!  You are going to get your unit 6 DBQ from my substitute, type it on the computer and submit it to Turnitin.com.  You will log in using your email address and password, click the APUSH course link, then click the submit icon next to the unit 6 DBQ assignment.

If you finish this before the end of the period, get your unit 6 objective test, answer sheet, and report printout to work on test corrections.  Be sure to return all of these before leaving class.

We reviewed the WWI map, then I lectured briefly over the causes of WWI.  Students used the rest of the period to work on the WWI vocab worksheet and/or the reading guide on pages 3-5 of the WWI packet.

Students worked to complete the WWI map, and then began work on the WWI visual notes vocabulary sheet, both of which will be due on block day.

On the map, please disregard the instructions on the paper for identifying the western front, and instead use the yellow and blue lines on the p. 412 as a guide.  Sorry for the confusion!

We reviewed the scoring and documents for the unit 5 DBQ.  Students then had an opportunity to read their peer reviews and scored DBQs at Turnitin.com

The Unit 6 DBQ over the New Deal will be tomorrow.  Make sure to bring writing supplies!

We finished watching Surviving the Dust Bowl.  I then talked briefly about the AP exam and the availability of review books.  Finally, students began the Social Studies practice exam.
