  • Take out your Do Now sheet and answer the following, “How do you define “truth.” Is there such a thing as “absolute truth?” (3 minutes)
  • Pick up the Reformation packet and turn to the learning targets. Answer the focus questions individually or with your elbow partner. Discuss with the class. (10 minutes)
  • Turn to the research guide and use the sites listed to collect information to answer the research questions.
  • Reformation vocab sheet due on Friday.

  • Do Now- “Explain one reason the Renaissance started in Italy.”(3 minutes)
  • Find page the Renaissance characters activity in the packet (pages 11, 12). Go to a computer, open Safari, and navigate to
  • Use the readings to complete the chart of Renaissance characters.
  • Watch the review video over the Renaissance. Be alert to any ideas/ events/ people you are not sure about.
  • For the remainder of the period, we will work on Renaissance learning targets in the packet.
    • #2- p. 35, #3- p. 37, #4- p. 38, #5- p. 39, #6- p. 37-38, #7- p. 37-38, #8- packet, #9- notes, #10- notes, #11- p. 38, #12- notes, #13- p. 41, #14- p. 38-39.
