- Do Now- What were the most important turning points during WWII in the Pacific? Explain. (5 minutes)
- Finish your editorials about Kristallnacht in the packet. You will be writing as a German for a German paper, and an American for an American paper. Please read the directions carefully, and take into account the context for which you are writing.
- Prepare to take notes to complete the Holocaust timeline in your packet. (40 minutes)
- If time permits, we will begin “Nuremberg.”
- Complete The Fall of Singapore reading and questions for homework. Start on this in class if you finish the Pacific battles page.
- Before the end of class, you should be able to answer learning targets 11- 13.

- Do Now- Who were the Allied powers? Who were the Axis powers? (2 minutes)
- Turn in your “Nuremberg” permission forms
- Using your books, pages 497-501 & 511-513, read and complete the Fighting in WWII: Pacific page in the packet. (15 minutes)
- We will review WWII in the Pacific. (25 minutes)
- Complete The Fall of Singapore reading and questions for homework.
- Pick up Holocaust story notes and complete them using the Holocaust reading in the packet. (15 minutes)
- Work on the Kristalnacht editorials. (20 minutes)
- Before the end of class, you should be able to answer learning targets 6- 9.

Students watched and took notes over episode 14 of The Century, “A New World.”
Afterwards, students had time to work on Discourse for unit 10.
All unit 9 DBQs submitted by AP exam takers as of 2:45 today have been scored in Turnitin.com.

- Turn to the Fighting in WWII: Europe page in your packet and prepare to take notes. We will wrap up the overview of Europe and plunge right into the Pacific. (40 minutes)
- If we finish with the Pacific Theater, start working on “The Fall of Singapore” pages.
- Before the end of class, you should be able to answer learning targets 6- 9.

Students did test corrections for the unit 9 objective test and typed DBQ 9 to submit to Turnitin.com. Submit those as soon as possible if you hope to have feedback prior to the AP exam.
Unit 9 objective test and unit 9 Discourse have been entered into eSIS.

- Do Now- What are the primary features of Germany’s blitzkrieg? (5 minutes)
- Turn in the Do Now sheet from the past 2 weeks if you didn’t on Friday.
- Turn in WWII vocab. If you do not have this, you may sign yourself up for Overtime today to earn up to 90 % credit.
- Turn to the Fighting in WWII: Europe page in your packet and prepare to take notes. (40 minutes)
- Before the end of class, you should be able to answer examples 1-4, 8, and 9 under learning target question 8.

Students took the unit 9 objective test.
Where Trouble Comes, Watergate, and the chapter 38, 39 vocab quiz have been entered in eSIS.
The assignments, vocab, Discourse questions, and due dates were emailed today., and are available at SchoolCenter. The first assignment is due Wednesday.
