Students worked on preparing a DBQ response following these steps:

  1. Evaluate the prompt.  What is it asking you to do?
  2. Identify and list outside information you could use to respond to the prompt.
  3. Develop a thesis that responds to all parts of the prompt.
  4. Create an outline identifying you arguments and supporting information.
  5. Analyze the documents.  Identify ideas and evidence you can use to support your arguments.
  6. Incorporate evidence from the documents and outside into your outline.

Test review bank for units 4 and 5 has been posted at TheTestingCenter.com.
