Students took the Unit 1 objective test. Tomorrow students will write the DBQ (or more precisely, take part in the DBQ writing exercises)!
Extra Credit Alert– Students may watch any episode of Ken Burn’s The War on PBS airing nightly through Wednesday, October 3 and all day Sunday, September 30. Check your local listings. Students will need to complete a motion picture analysis worksheet in order to earn extra credit. Due by 3:00 p.m. Friday, October 5.

Since there are 15 segments, does that mean I can do 15 motion picture analysis worksheets and get 15 times the amount of extra credit?
There are actually 7 episodes, each airing multiple times. Limit 1 motion picture analysis worksheet per extra credit customer.
Does this offer apply to any other films of the sort? I can give you a detailed account of every episode of Band of Brothers is that would count for anything….
No.
So we watch one episode, fill out the motion picture sheet then get extra-credit?
Sounds too good to be true, doesn’t it?
How much extra-credit specifically? Is it enough to make a visible difference in a grade? For example, say you theoretically had a 75% in the class-what would the extra credit do to it?
≥75%
So… if i cant watch other stuff of the same genre on TV, can i get anything for reading historically accurate and informative books?
Knowledge, understanding, personal growth, . . .
Sure does… sure does…
