Students wrote the unit 7 DBQ. After finishing the DBQ, students worked on test corrections for unit 7. Students who do not finish in class will need to come in outside of class time to finish.
Review session Thursday night 7-10 p.m. in the fixed forum.
I will be showing The Century, episode 14, “A New World” in my classroom during TCB Thursday.

Students who returned the permission form began watching the film “Nuremberg.” Study guides were distributed that will need to be completed and turned in following the completion of the film Friday.

Students finished watching The Holocaust on Trial. They will need to complete their responses to the question: “How would you respond to someone who claimed that the Holocaust never happened?” to turn in tomorrow.

Students watched the first part of Holocaust on Trial. We will finish the film on Monday. After viewing, you are to respond to the question:

We completed the Holocaust notes.
I sent a permission form home with students for 2 films I am planning to use next week. Please return these forms by Monday, April 27 at the latest.

We reviewed the prompt and documents for the unit 6 DBQ. We then read and scored several samples using the rubric.

Students worked on the Holocaust study guide. This was to be turned in before the end of the period. After completing the Holocaust study guide, students picked up the Holocaust vocab. This will be due on block day this week.

Students watched the first part of Battle of the Bulge. They are to respond to the following question:
- What if Hitler’s gamble at the Battle of the Bulge had succeeded and Germany had permanently stopped the Allied advance in the West? Imagine that you are a historian in 1960 looking back on the battle.
